Preserved Snowflake Art, Real Snowflake Display, Real Snow Crystal, Nature Art,

Own a little piece of a Colorado winter storm, collected by hand and transformed into a one-of-a-kind work of natural art.
This beautiful 25mm preserved snowflake display features a real snow crystal alongside a miniature bear silhouette, creating a tiny winter wilderness scene within glass and resin. The delicate geometry of the snowflake and the familiar outline of a bear bring together two beautiful parts of the natural world.
Each piece preserves a fleeting moment from a Colorado snowfall, allowing the intricate details of a naturally formed snow crystal to be admired long after the storm has passed.

Every snowflake begins high within the clouds, where changing temperatures and humidity shape its intricate crystalline structure. As each crystal grows, it develops delicate branches and geometric patterns influenced by the atmospheric conditions it encounters.
During active Colorado winter storms, I carefully collect snowflakes by hand and preserve them while working below freezing. Temperature, humidity, wind, light, and even a single breath can affect these fragile crystals before preservation is complete.
Once preserved, something that would ordinarily disappear within moments becomes a lasting piece of natural art.
What I especially love about these wildlife-inspired pieces is the way they bring together the smallest details of winter with the larger world around us.
The little bear silhouette creates a quiet wilderness scene, while the preserved snowflake offers a closer look at the extraordinary geometry hidden within winter weather. Together, they create a tiny tribute to Colorado’s wild landscapes and the beauty of the natural world.
No two snowflakes are ever exactly alike, making every finished piece completely one of a kind. The exact artwork shown in the listing photographs is the one you will receive.
