Art Display/4x6-Real Snowflake Preserved Resin/Glass

This framed preserved snowflake features a real Colorado snow crystal, hand collected during the January 8–9, 2026 snowfall and permanently preserved while frozen. Presented in a 4 × 6 inch frame with magnifying acrylic, this one of a kind snowflake art brings winter’s delicate geometry into closer view.
The original Capture Certificate is included. You will receive the exact Preserved Snowflake shown in the photographs.
Snowfall Date: 01/08 to 01/09/2026
Every Preserved Snowflake begins as a naturally formed snow crystal that falls from the clouds during an active Colorado winter storm. Working entirely below freezing, I carefully collect each snowflake by hand and preserve it while frozen using my original preservation process.
Collecting snowflakes is a race against time. Temperature, humidity, wind, light, and even a single breath can affect a delicate crystal before preservation begins. Each piece holds the intricate natural structure of a snowflake that might otherwise have disappeared before anyone could see its details.
The magnifying acrylic allows those delicate details to be admired more closely. Presented in a simple 4 × 6 inch frame, this real snowflake display brings together scientific curiosity, handmade art, and the quiet beauty of winter.
This piece is part of my ongoing Preserved Snowflake Global Archive, a lifetime project dedicated to preserving snow crystals from around the world. Each winter adds new discoveries to a growing collection celebrating the remarkable diversity within every snowfall.
A meaningful gift for a nature lover, weather enthusiast, science collector, or someone who finds wonder in small things, this framed snow crystal offers a little piece of Colorado winter to enjoy throughout the year.
