Every Preserved Snowflake begins as a naturally formed snow crystal that falls from the clouds during an active Colorado winter storm. Working entirely below freezing, I carefully collect each snowflake and preserve it while frozen using my original preservation process before transforming it into wearable art.
Collecting snowflakes is a race against time. Temperature, humidity, wind, light, and even a single breath can affect a delicate snow crystal before preservation begins. Each capture is completed entirely by hand before the snowflake is permanently preserved in resin, allowing its extraordinary natural geometry to be admired for generations.
No two snowflakes are ever alike. Every real snowflake forms naturally within the clouds and can never be recreated, making each ring as unique as the winter storm from which it came.
This design brings together three remarkable natural treasures. The luminous 12.6 mm Tahitian gray pearl offers rich natural tones, while moonstone glows with its signature ethereal sheen. Paired with a genuine preserved snowflake, the combination creates an elegant piece inspired by moonlit winter nights and the quiet beauty of nature.
